Que the ray scuba dive vieques
When your SCUBA diving here on Vieques sometimes it is as if we have some magic control over the critters we see on a dive. Today was that way.
On our first dive with Richard, Rick, Lisa and Melissa we were just cruising and not seeing anything big or different. So Que the Spotted Eagle Ray, then the giant moray eel, then the 8 foot nurse shark then the Giant Parrots and Angels. It juist did not stop. If we would of had a Ray and Turtle we would have canceled the 2nd dive, it was that perfect.
Thanks for spending some of your vacation with us.

Yes and some lion fish on the side diving vieques
Today on our 2nd dive of the day here on Vieques a lion fish that met its maker offered us a treat. While cutting it of the spear a spotted eel came right over and started eating it. Great SCUBA Dive.
We had Markus, John, Greg, Clay and Mark for 2 tanks this morning. Great bunchy of guys and very good divers. They got to see the Cannon or what's left of it from the spanish gallion. Lots of other critters. Viz was down a bit.
Dive 2 had us at one of our favorite shallow dives and the viz was great. The puffers were out in force, Parrots and the Cleaning stations were full, just like a car wash.
The Afternoon we had Sue and Chris. 1 tanker that was alot of fun. They got a chance to see Stumpy the Stingray (we see him all over our reef system).
Great Day.

Vieques Dive Map is back
We had temporarily removed the Vieques SCUBA Dive Map. It's back online although we have to tweak the pages a bit, but here is the link:
Robin has SCUBA Paparazzi in Vieques
What a couple of days can make here on Vieques. Being the PADI SCUBA Dive boat on Vieques it's a big deal when the boat goes down. All fixed and back up and had a great diving day.
Thanks to Phil, Scott, Robin and new comers Dave and Ricardo for taking the 3 hour tour. First dive had us with a Shark, turtle and Dueling Parrot fish locked in Mortal combat.
dive 2, another shark and squid. The best thing after the dive Scott came up and said, "That's the first time I could see anything while diving". Yes scott the XS Scuba Cortez mask fit you perfect.
I'm sure we will be diving with all you again.

On Thursday we had Jim and Linda. A couple of great divers that put up with us for 2 days. We had a couple of boat dives and then off to Mosquito pier because Linda wanted to see some Turtles. Turtles we saw and alot of them.
See you guys next time.

Vieques SCUBA song Ooooooh barracuda
It's Robin fault, the other day when doing the SCUBA dive briefing here on vieques we mentioned we might see barracuda. Well Robin said everytime she sees one the Heart song Barracuda goes through through her head.
Well, Robin Oooooh Barracuda. First dive had us with several and one was an old haggered grand one at about 6 feet. We also had Ray's Hog fish, Moray Eel (huge) and host of other critters.
Dive 2 had us in a school of Barracuda about 20 of them. Wow... Cool. A few Lion fish kills, another huge green Moray and a 50 plus minute dive. Awesome.
Phil and Scott thanks for a great dive.
Pounding Sand beim Tauchen Vieques
I thought we would put up the title in German today for our German Customers that went diving with us. Translated it is. Pounding sand while SCUBA Diving in Vieques.
Today was all about the Sand. During our Briefing Michael asked if we would see anything and i assured him he would see plenty of Sand. So it became our goal to show the folks as much sand as we could.
Job well done for sure.
First dive of the day we had lobsters and a huge Moray. We did have a huge Amber Jack swing by and say Hello. The pissed off Barracuda shooed him away. It was a bit unnerving that the Barracuda kept following us and at only 10 feet or so. Maybe we had the special sauce coming out today.
2nd dive had lots of Sand and lots of Fish. Fish Everywhere, in fact made me think to the Bubba Gump scene in Forest Gump. There were big fish, small fish, silver fish, blue fish....
What a great bunch of divers today.
Thanks for the laughs Michael, Michael, Matthis, Vera and Glen. Glen great job being 15 years out of the water.
