Big Swell Little Viz and big smiles SCUBA Vieques
It's great having SCUBA divers that love diving. Today when we arrived at the dock the normal gin clear waters of Vieques were a bit cloudy. A bit of a wind event (no not the big party on the malacon) came through last night and stirred it up. So after our briefing with Matt, Lisa, Andrew and Megan and telling them that the viz was not going to be great. They all said heck lets go diving.
So that we did. Got out to the dive site and had a bit of current at the surface, so into the water and down the tag line. What do we see but a pick up bed size Southern Stingray mid water. When we hit the reef viz was about 40 feet. Not to bad. Matt spotted a huge lobster and asked where to get the butter. At one point we noticed a group of Barracuda circling some blue runners. Awesome. by the end of the dive the sand had stirred up to 20 feet viz.
After the dive and sitting at the new Esperanza Dive Shack we laughed and enjoyed the hot sun.
Thanks for diving with us.

Andrew and Megan
