Yes, We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, that evolves as follows...

1. When you reserve a trip, Nan-Sea Charters holds the space for you, often at the exclusion of others. We are permitted to carry a limited number of passengers (maximum of six) and we will not over book.

2. If the weather is so bad that we are unable to work and provide the services scheduled: Customers under deposit will receive a full deposit refund.
Customers who have prepaid packages will receive a pro-rated refund.

3. If the weather is rough and you decide not to dive; There is no refund, but we will try to reschedule you. Acceptability of weather conditions is determined by Nan-Sea Charters.

4. During holiday periods, it may not be possible to reschedule.

5. If you miss diving (or any other scheduled activity), even due to ill health, hangover or diarrhea… Our hearts go out to you, but no notice will be charged the full amount of the reserved trip.

6. If you call and give less than 24 hours notice and can not be rescheduled, you will be charged the full amount of the reservation. If you give no notice and do not show up for the trip, you will be charged the full amount of the reservation. In order to keep our prices competitive and stay in business, we cannot absorb the losses caused by late cancellations.

All reservations for all activity.
We will at least need to know; a credit card number to hold the reservation; When you are arriving in Vieques, where you are staying in Vieques and a number where we can contact you when you are here.

We accept Credit Cards and Cash. To reserve a specific day we charge at time of booking.

Reservations are recommended: We only take a maximum of 6 passengers and often fill up / sell out weeks in advance.

Yes, this is much appreciated, to ensure that the weather is cooperating, you have arrived in Vieques and are ready for your scheduled activity, and to confirm your local contact number.

Scheduled departure times are determined when you make your reservation. However, boat trips always leave from the small pier in Esperanza.( across from Blue Caribe Kayak center). Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure at the Dive Shack located between the 2 piers in the parking lot for check in and briefing.

Yes, but only for our Boat and supervised dives. We have all the equipment needed for diving and snorkeling.

Mostly spur and groove formations of healthy reef, with lots of fish. Eels, rays, turtles and nurse shark are not uncommon, little or no current, average year round visibility @ 80+ feet. Water temps are in the upper 70's during winter months, to low 80's in the spring and summer. Typical dive site depths range from 80+ to 50, for the first dive, then a shallower second dive to 50-30+ feet. Dive and snorkel sites for the day are determined by the conditions of the water at the time of charters and the experience level of the passengers on board. Boat rides average 10 to 15 minutes to most dive sites, with entire boat dive trip times of about 2 hours. We normally return to shore between dives.

No, but the ocean is quite big.

Ice Water is on-board

Cooler space can be made available for your food and beverage needs, upon request.
